Does Snape deserve redemption? Empty Does Snape deserve redemption?

I know this has been a controversial topic in the HP fandom community for a while, but does Snape deserve redemption? My sister and I got into an argument over this, and I wanted to see what y'all thought.
My opinion is no: Everything he did can't be justified with just one chapter. Snape stayed obsessed with Lily, even after she was married and had a kid, so that's just a little creepy. He also constantly favored Slytherin over the other houses, openly hated muggles and his only motivation to do literally anything was Lily, who had been dead for 16 years. Anyway, rant over. What do you guys think?
